I am still here!

Hello everyone, it's me again.  I am still here, I know that I have not been around for a month or so.  I have been very busy this year.  I am working more and more out of the house now and some times are later and later.  I had to stop doing the Creative Team that I was on.  I loved doing that it was so much fun, I just could not keep it up.  So I had to let it go, I do not know when I will be going back, but for now I just work come home and try to craft something.  I will be posting again from time to time some pictures of craft items I have made or would like to make.  I know that some of you all have seen me crocheting these ruffle Sashay Scarfs.  I have made about 16 of these scarfs now.  They are fun to make but I need to put some glue on my hands and some color to paper.  I love starting new craft ideas, but I really need to teach my self how to make flowers and cards.  I will learn these two things.  Well, here are some pictures for you of the Ruffle Scarfs:

I hope that you enjoy these, I did have fun making these and really love the colors on them.  I went to Youtube to find how to make these it is so easy to make.  I will be selling these.

BLACK HISTORY MONTH~21

Dr Dr. Benjamin S. Carson Sr., (1951-) is a noted and prominent children’s neurosurgeon and motivational speaker. He became the Director of Pediatric Neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital when he was just 33 years old. Born and raised in inner-city Detroit, Dr. Carson credits his mother Sonya’s influence with much of his success. She performed domestic work to keep her family financially afloat. With only a third grade education herself, Sonya Carson prayed diligently for wisdom to help Ben and his older brother Curtis success in school. Many had given up on Ben, including himself, but his mother never did. She encouraged him to do better and reach higher for his dreams. Vigorous studying and a thirst for knowledge enabled young Dr. Carson to graduate from high school with honors and gain admission to Yale University where he pursued a degree in Psychology. He then went onto medical school at the University of Michigan, where his interest shifted from psychiatry to neurosurgery. In 1987, Carson made medical history with an operation to separate a pair of Siamese twins. The Binder twins were born joined at the back of the head. Operations to separate twins joined in this way had always failed, resulting in the death of one or both of the infants. Carson agreed to undertake the operation. A 70-member surgical team, led by Dr. Carson, worked for 22 hours. At the end, the twins were successfully separated and can now survive independently.Carson's other surgical innovations have included the first intra-uterine procedure to relieve pressure on the brain of a hydrocephalic fetal twin, and a hemispherectomy, in which an infant suffering from uncontrollable seizures has half of its brain removed. This stops the seizures, and the remaining half of the brain actually compensates for the missing hemisphere.
In 1997, Dr. Carson took a leave of absence from his surgical duties to address groups of young people around the country. Carson's books include Gifted Hands and Think Big.
Talent: Our Creator has endowed all of us not just with the ability to sing, dance or throw a ball, but with intellectual talent. Start getting in touch with that part of you that is intellectual and develop that, and think of careers that will allow you to use that.

Honesty: If you lead a clean and honest life, you don't put skeletons in the closet. If you put skeletons in the closet, they definitely will come back just when you don't want to see them and ruin your life.

Insight: It comes from people who have already gone where you're trying to go. Learn from their triumphs and their mistakes.

Nice: If you're nice to people, then once they get over the suspicion of why you're being nice, they will be nice to you.

Knowledge: It makes you into a more valuable person. The more knowledge you have, the more people need you. It's an interesting phenomenon, but when people need you, they pay you, so you'll be okay in life.

Books: They are the mechanism for obtaining knowledge, as opposed to television.

In-Depth Learning: Learn for the sake of knowledge and understanding, rather than for the sake of impressing people or taking a test.

God: Never get too big for Him.
